Known as one of the essential tools of any detective solving a crime or mystery, the clip of each edition pen is shaped like a magnifying glass, in homage to the great Sherlock Holmes.

The face of the outstanding author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is engraved on each quill of each of the four editions of the collection, alongside a special narrative element drawn from the theme of the edition in question.

Crafted from precious resin and endowed with Ruthenian attributes, the cap and body of the Montblanc Writers Edition Sir Arthur Conan Doyle writing instruments feature the original Scottish plaid pattern worn by Sherlock Holmes, as well as excerpts from an old map of Victorian London.
