The Robin Drive House, a glass pavilion with a breathtaking view

The Robin Drive House, a glass pavilion with a breathtaking view Designed by famous Irish architect Paul McClean, the Robin Drive House is a surprisingly luxurious home located on Los Angeles' iconic Sunset Boulevard.

Avant-garde style, high-end finishes, luxurious amenities, nothing is too good for this property of nearly 1500m2. You enter through the interior courtyard where you discover a basalt rotunda and a two-storey wall of water. After crossing the small floating bridge, a breathtaking dining room and living room open up. Huge marble fireplaces complete the picture.

The spacious and modern kitchen, the cozy bedrooms and a fabulous master suite, which overlooks the city, thanks to its cantilevered location above the garden, thus creates a covered patio below.

As for materials, we find Bardiglio marble for the exterior and interior walls of the house, and black basalt is used inside. We also like the quartzite and oak as well as the Palladio gray sandstone, so many luxurious materials that are all part of the interior palette. As for the floor-to-ceiling glass walls, they offer incredible views of downtown Los Angeles and totally blur the line between indoors and outdoors.

It has an exterior worthy of this dream house with outdoor lounge, garden and swimming pool.

Without forgetting the small rounded living room and its submerged fire in the middle of the infinity pool, with a breathtaking view of the Californian metropolis.

A modern wonder surrounded by vegetation with a giant roof terrace.

In addition to this breathtaking exterior, the villa also features a cinema, a bar, golf simulator, sauna, billiards room, wine cellar and to top it all off, a gym!

The Robin Drive House is therefore well and truly at the height of Paul McClean's worldwide fame, here each element of the house reflects his genius and his thoughtful design with clean lines and the light that floods into each room. A true ultra private architectural masterpiece ...
