On the design side, the roofline blends into a fastback tailgate and a magnificent modern exterior color called Frozen Light Copper. In addition, blue elements on the front, sides and rear reflect the BMW i origin of this very innovative Gran Coupé car. 

The front of the BMW Concept i4 has a striking appearance with large, closed double nostrils and two LED light elements arranged in a filigree fashion. Thanks to the narrow L-shaped tail lights, the rear of the car seems to be anchored on the road. Numerous aerodynamic optimization measures, such as the rear diffuser or the exclusive-looking rims, optimize the air resistance while underlining the general dynamic impression of the car. 

In the passenger compartment, the driver-oriented Curved Display and the gear shift slider ensure futuristic modernity with maximum orientation towards the driver. Control elements such as the iDrive Controller or the memory buttons for the seats in the doors are decorated with precious crystal. The modern design is complemented by seats in which the fabric / leather combination is made of handpicked and durable materials. 

The BMW Concept i4 is characterized not only by its individual design, but also by its own innovative and specific sound. It was developed under the leadership of BMW IconicSounds Electric and world-renowned composer Hans Zimmer in collaboration with BMW Sound Designer, Renzo Vitale. BMW IconicSounds Electric has set itself the goal of making BMW's electric cars more striking and audible by creating distinct sound universes: from the sound when the doors open to the start-up scenario of the car and these are more intense and more marked in "Sport" mode.
