Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen: "Snakes" collection

New arrivals this spring for the fine jewelery house and supplier to the Danish court Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen!

From April, the "Snakes" collection is getting new rings, still in the same bohemian chic style that has made the reputation of the family house in recent years.

Artistic director Charlotte Lynggaard completes this collection initially designed by her father and founder Ole Lynggaard.

For the record, it was in the 1960s that Ole Lynggaard fell in love with reptiles when visiting the Cairo Museum. Hypnotized by the sculptural beauty of this quintessentially Egyptian ornament, the designer kept the idea of coiled snakes in mind as a high jewelry motif for half a century, before bringing it to life in a gold version and a first Snakes collection was unveiled to the public during the brand's 50th anniversary in 2013.

The rings, in 18k gold and handmade, come in two different designs. One has eight diamonds, the other is set with two hundred and twenty diamonds. The gemstone in the center is available in four variations: blue tourmaline, moonstone, turquoise stone and rutilated quartz.

For a Snakes ring model with eight diamonds, count on spending from 8,100 to 19,750 euros, while Snakes rings with two hundred diamonds can cost from 17,450 to 29,500 euros…
