Morgan Super 3

Still three wheels, but a bit more modern, here is the Morgan Super 3! The English Morgan has just relaunched production of its famous three-wheeler.

Some may know the "3 Wheeler" but today its identity changes and its name with it: the Super 3 makes its appearance.

The time had come for the "3 Wheeler" to retire and make way for a more modern vehicle, both in terms of design and technology.

This is the first Morgan to be based on a monocoque structure, in bonded aluminium. Its size has also evolved, an additional 350 mm in length to 3.58 m and 120 mm extra in width for a total 1.84 m.

The engine changes to make way for a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre EcoBoost 3-cylinder from the Ford organ bank. Power is 118 hp with a torque of 150 Nm.

All linked to the rear wheel via a five-speed manual transmission taken from the Mazda MX-5, which allows the Super 3, weighing just 635 kg, to fly from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.0 seconds, with a max speed of 209 km/h. You will soon find more than 200 accessories in the catalog, ranging from a simple navigation system or a smartphone holder to numerous luggage racks.

In Her Majesty's kingdom, the Morgan Super 3 will retail for £41,995.
