Reine de Naples 8938, all the brilliance of a Queen Breguet

Breguet lifts the veil on a new creation joining its collections: the Reine de Naples 8938. Brilliant and luminous with its delicate snow setting on its gold dial, it is offered in white gold with a blue strap and in pink gold with an orange bracelet.

Adorning timepieces with precious stones has been a cherished tradition in watchmaking for more than five centuries. This art requires great dexterity and infallible patience. Unlike the traditional concentric setting, the “snow” technique features stones of different sizes that cover the dial, in order to minimize the apparent material on which they rest. The result: an unparalleled shine.

Breguet completes the dial of the Reine de Naples 8938 with an eccentric hour circle at the 6 in natural white mother-of-pearl, on which dance the traditional Breguet numerals, as well as the unmistakable Breguet "apple" hands. The setting continues on the flange, the bezel and the clip with brilliant-cut diamonds, as well as on the crown with a briolette-cut diamond, a rare and sophisticated cut. More than 3 carats of diamonds illuminate this precious timepiece.

The Reine de Naples 8938 has all the brilliance of a true watchmaking queen.

Aesthetics always go hand in hand with technique at Breguet, it has endowed its new Reine with a mechanical movement with automatic winding, with escapement and balance-spring in silicon. The latter comes to life thanks to the movement of a finely guillochéd platinum oscillating weight.
