The Venetian tradition of bronze in the new Nereide by Venezianico

The Venetian tradition of bronze is found in the new Néréide watch by Venezianico...

Majestic bronze statues, forged in ancient Greece, found refuge in Saint Mark's Basilica in the 13th century, initiating a rich artistic and artisanal tradition linked to this noble metal. From this historical link arises the inspiration for the Nereide Bronze, a watch, in which the thousand-year-old history of this material merges with the contemporary design of the house founded by the brothers Alberto and Alessandro Morelli.

With a 42 mm case, waterproof to 300 meters, Nereide Bronze features, under the anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a gradient effect dial.

The handmade leather bracelet is enriched with Latin engravings, the same as the oldest mosaic in St. Mark's Basilica, illustrating the solemn oath of the Doge Lorenzo Tiepolo in 1268 during the transfer of the relic of St. Mark.
